Junk Removal · New Castle, Delaware
Junk removal
in New Castle.
New Castle is two towns in one — the colonial grid down by the river where the streets are cobbled and narrow, and the modern sprawl along Route 13 and Route 141. The equipment we bring depends entirely on which one you are in.

Where we work in town
New Castle,
street by street
We work the historic district around The Green and Delaware Street, the neighborhoods off Route 9 and Route 273, the Route 13 corridor, and out toward Wilmington Manor and the airport side. Historic-district jobs mean street staging and carrying; the Route 13 side is ordinary driveway work.
Where it goes
Disposal in
New Castle County
Delaware runs its waste through the Delaware Solid Waste Authority, so a New Castle job does not touch the Maryland system at all. Most of what comes off a truck up here goes to Cherry Island Landfill at 1706 East 12th Street in Wilmington, open 7am to 5pm weekdays and 7am to 3pm Saturday.
For jobs south of the canal, the Pine Tree Corner Transfer Station at 276 Pine Tree Road in Townsend is the closer gate — Monday through Saturday, 7am to 5pm. Which one we use depends on where you are, and both are priced by weight.
Because Maryland county facilities will not take Delaware-generated waste, a hauler who is set up only for Cecil County is either turning your job down or eating a long detour. We run both sides of the line and quote New Castle on Delaware numbers, not Maryland ones.
New Castle questions
Before
you call
Can you work in the historic district?
Yes, but with smaller equipment and more trips. Those streets will not take a loaded dump trailer and we are not going to block them trying. It changes the schedule more than the price — tell us the street when you text.
How close is disposal from here?
Cherry Island Landfill on East 12th Street in Wilmington is close from New Castle, which is one reason jobs on this side of the county price well despite being farther from our yard than, say, Elkton.
What is your turnaround in New Castle?
Most New Castle jobs go out the same week the quote is accepted, and we can sometimes do next-day if a slot opens. Send photos and you will get a real date back, not a vague promise.
Can you do the job while I am at work?
Yes, as long as we can get to the items without going through a locked house. Plenty of our New Castle jobs happen with nobody home — you leave the garage open or the gate unlocked, and we send photos and the invoice when it is done.
Is there anything you have to refuse?
Yes — liquid paint, solvents, fuel, propane tanks, asbestos and medical waste. Those need a licensed route we do not have, and no landfill in this region will take them off a hauling truck. We flag it before the day rather than leaving it in your driveway.
