How this gets priced
Construction debris is priced by weight, not volume, and that’s the single most important difference between this and a household job. A pickup bed of shingles outweighs a full truck of furniture. Any hauler quoting concrete or roofing by the cubic yard is either guessing or about to revise the number, because the landfill charges them by the ton either way.

For contractors
Why this beats a roll-off
A dumpster makes sense when you’re producing debris steadily for two weeks. It makes much less sense when you have one day of tear-out and then need the driveway back. A roll-off has to be delivered, permitted on some streets, sat on for the rental period, and picked up — and you’re paying for the days it sits there empty.
We show up, load, and are gone the same day. Nothing occupies the driveway over a weekend, nothing needs a street permit, and the homeowner doesn’t call you about the eyesore in front of their house.
For contractors running regular volume we’ll set up a standing arrangement instead of quoting each job cold — you text us a photo and an address and we tell you a price and a day. Insurance certificate available on request, which you’ll need anyway if you’re working anywhere with a GC.
One caution: asbestos. Older flooring, siding, pipe wrap, and popcorn ceiling may contain it, and no hauler can legally move it. If the building predates 1985 and you’re cutting into any of that, it needs testing first. We’ll stop and say so instead of load it.

Before you book
Do you work with contractors on an ongoing basis?
Yes. Regular-volume contractors get a standing arrangement — text a photo and address, get a price and a day, no re-quoting from scratch each time. We can provide a certificate of insurance for your GC.
Why is concrete priced differently than furniture?
Because the landfill weighs the truck. Household junk is priced by the space it takes because it’s light and bulky. Concrete, dirt, shingles, and tile are dense enough that a small pile costs more to dump than a full load of couches. Pricing them the same way would mean overcharging one and losing money on the other.
Can you take asbestos siding or old floor tile?
No. Asbestos abatement requires a licensed contractor and a different disposal pathway entirely. If the building is older and you’re cutting into siding, pipe wrap, or nine-inch floor tile, get it tested first. We’ll flag it if we see it.
Is a truck really cheaper than a dumpster?
On a one-day tear-out, usually yes, because you aren’t paying for rental days or delivery and pickup. On a two-week project producing debris continuously, a roll-off is probably the better tool and we’ll tell you so.
