Junk Removal · Bear, Delaware
Junk removal
in Bear.
Bear is dense suburban Delaware — a lot of houses built in the same twenty-year window, which means a lot of them are hitting the same stage at once: finished basements filling up, original appliances dying, and parents downsizing.

Where we work in town
Bear,
street by street
We work the Route 7 and Route 40 corridors, Fox Run and the developments around it, the neighborhoods off Route 72, and out toward Glasgow and Red Lion. Attached garages and paved driveways make access easy here, which keeps the labor portion of a job down.
Where it goes
Disposal in
New Castle County
Delaware runs its waste through the Delaware Solid Waste Authority, so a Bear job does not touch the Maryland system at all. Most of what comes off a truck up here goes to Cherry Island Landfill at 1706 East 12th Street in Wilmington, open 7am to 5pm weekdays and 7am to 3pm Saturday.
For jobs south of the canal, the Pine Tree Corner Transfer Station at 276 Pine Tree Road in Townsend is the closer gate — Monday through Saturday, 7am to 5pm. Which one we use depends on where you are, and both are priced by weight.
Because Maryland county facilities will not take Delaware-generated waste, a hauler who is set up only for Cecil County is either turning your job down or eating a long detour. We run both sides of the line and quote Bear on Delaware numbers, not Maryland ones.
Bear questions
Before
you call
Can you take an old fridge or freezer?
Yes. Refrigerators, freezers, window air conditioners, and dehumidifiers all go, but they are priced separately from the rest of the load because sealed refrigerant has to be recovered by a certified tech before the unit can be scrapped. That is a real cost and we show it separately rather than hiding it in a volume price.
Do you do same-week scheduling in Bear?
Most weeks, yes. We are up in New Castle County several times a week, so a Bear job usually slots into a run we are already making. Text photos and we will tell you the soonest day.
How soon can you get to a job in Bear?
Usually within the week, often sooner. Text photos to 410-996-4860 and we will tell you the earliest we can be there along with the price — not a window, an actual day.
Do I have to be home when you come?
Not always. If everything is outside, in an open garage, or anywhere we can reach without going through the house, we can do the job and send you photos and an invoice afterward. For anything inside an occupied home we ask that someone is there.
What won’t you take?
No liquid waste, paint, chemicals, gasoline, propane tanks, asbestos, or medical waste. No disposal facility in the region accepts those from a hauler. We will tell you before we load rather than find out at the scale house.
