An owner is on every job
Most junk removal you find online is a franchise or a lead broker. You get a call center, a number off a script, and a crew you’ve never spoken to showing up to renegotiate in your driveway. We started this to not be that.
There are two of us. We answer the phone, we write the quotes, we load the trucks. If we give you a number, we’re the ones stuck with it, so we get it right the first time.
Veteran-owned
Will is an Army veteran. Ask him what that has to do with hauling junk and he’ll say not much, except being on time and doing what you said you’d do. If a job is past what we can handle, we say so up front instead of working it out in your driveway.
Licensed and insured
Clean Slate Junk Removal, LLC is a Maryland limited liability company — SDAT Department ID W27389840 — licensed in Cecil County and carrying general liability insurance. We’ll provide a certificate on request — property managers and general contractors usually want one, and it’s a reasonable thing to ask any hauler for.
Where the load actually goes
Every load goes to a permitted facility, and we can tell you which one. Maryland waste goes to the Cecil County Central Landfill in Elkton or the Harford Waste Disposal Center. Delaware runs through DSWA. Pennsylvania goes to the Lanchester Landfill in Narvon. Metal is pulled for recycling first, and usable furniture and household goods are offered to donation before anything is thrown away. Nothing gets dumped on a back road.
What we won’t do
The honest edges
We don’t take liquid paint, chemicals, fuel, propane tanks, asbestos or medical waste — no disposal site in Maryland, Delaware or Pennsylvania accepts those from a hauling truck. We aren’t a tree service, so standing trees and stump grinding need a licensed outfit with different insurance. Debris already on the ground is ours. We don’t demolish anything with a foundation, and we won’t cut into a live circuit or a gas line.
Where a job needs somebody else first — an electrician to disconnect a hot tub, a remediation contractor before a mold-affected basement, an abatement crew for asbestos siding — we say so at the quote instead of after the truck is in your driveway.
