What it
looks like
What it costs
How this
gets priced
Brush is priced by volume, and it is deceptive stuff — a pile that looks enormous compresses to very little, and a pile that looks manageable turns out to be six truckloads once it is cut. That is exactly why we want photos with something in frame for scale: a car, a door, a person. A picture of brush with nothing next to it tells us almost nothing.
| Job | Priced by | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| A pile already cut and stacked | Volume | Cheapest — the cutting is most of the labor |
| Standing brush and overgrowth | Volume + labor | We cut it, then haul it |
| Storm debris | Volume | Often mixed sizes; quoted after photos |
| Full property clearing | Walkthrough | Multi-day; quoted on site |
We do not publish flat rates, because a hauler who quotes you a price before seeing the job is either padding it or planning to renegotiate in your driveway. Here is exactly how we build a number ›
Where the line is
What we do
and don’t do
We are a hauling company that will cut brush, not a tree service. That distinction matters and it is worth being clear about, because it is where people get hurt and where uninsured operators get people sued.
Brush, undergrowth, saplings, fallen limbs, and storm debris on the ground — that is us, and we do a lot of it. Clearing a fence line that has disappeared, opening up a treeline, taking a lot back that has grown in over a decade: normal work.
A standing tree that needs to come down, anything requiring a climber or a bucket, and anything within reach of a power line is a licensed tree service with the right insurance. So is stump grinding. If a tree service has already dropped it and you need the debris gone, that is squarely our job and a common call.
One more thing: yard waste is often accepted at different rates than general trash, and some of it can go to composting or mulching operations rather than a landfill. Where that is an option in your county, we use it, and it keeps the price down.
Yard Waste & Brush Removal questions
Before
you book
Will you cut down a tree?
No. Standing trees, anything needing a climber or bucket, and anything near a power line is a licensed tree service. If they have already dropped it and you need the debris hauled, that is us.
Do you grind stumps?
No. A stump already cut and pulled out of the ground we will haul. Grinding one in place needs different equipment and a different license.
How should I photograph a brush pile?
With something in frame for scale — a car, a garage door, a person standing next to it. Brush is genuinely hard to size from a photo of just brush, and scale is the difference between an accurate quote and a revised one.
Can you clear a whole overgrown lot?
Yes, and those are usually multi-day jobs quoted after a walkthrough rather than from photos. Overgrown lots hide things — old fencing, dumped tires, a car body — and it is better to find them before quoting than after.
