Junk Removal · Glasgow, Delaware

Junk removal
in Glasgow.

Glasgow sits right at the Route 40 and Route 896 crossroads, which makes it one of the easiest Delaware addresses for us to reach — straight up 896 from the Maryland line with no town driving on either end.

What we haul

Glasgow
jobs we run

Every one of these is a service we run in Glasgow week in and week out. Follow a link for how that specific job gets priced.

Where we work in town

Glasgow,
street by street

We work the Route 40 corridor through Glasgow, the developments off Route 896 and Route 72, Peoples Plaza and the commercial strip behind it, and the residential streets running back toward Bear and Newark. Small commercial and office cleanouts are a bigger share of the work here than in most towns we cover.

Where it goes

Disposal in
New Castle County

Delaware runs its waste through the Delaware Solid Waste Authority, so a Glasgow job does not touch the Maryland system at all. Most of what comes off a truck up here goes to Cherry Island Landfill at 1706 East 12th Street in Wilmington, open 7am to 5pm weekdays and 7am to 3pm Saturday.

For jobs south of the canal, the Pine Tree Corner Transfer Station at 276 Pine Tree Road in Townsend is the closer gate — Monday through Saturday, 7am to 5pm. Which one we use depends on where you are, and both are priced by weight.

Because Maryland county facilities will not take Delaware-generated waste, a hauler who is set up only for Cecil County is either turning your job down or eating a long detour. We run both sides of the line and quote Glasgow on Delaware numbers, not Maryland ones.

Glasgow questions

Before
you call

Do you do commercial and office cleanouts?

Yes — office furniture, cubicles, retail fixtures, and whatever accumulates in a stockroom. We can work after hours or on a weekend if that is easier for the business, and we invoice the company directly.

Can you get a truck into a strip-mall loading area?

Usually without trouble. Tell us whether there is a dock, a rear door, or only front-of-house access, and roughly what time the lot is quiet. That does more for the schedule than anything else.

Can you come out this week?

Often, yes. It depends on how big the job is and what is already booked. Text photos to 410-996-4860 and we will tell you the soonest day we can actually be at your Glasgow address.

Does someone need to meet you on site?

Only if we have to go inside an occupied home. Otherwise leave us access and get on with your day. We photograph the work before and after so you can see exactly what left the property.

Can you take paint and chemicals?

Not liquid ones. Fully dried-out paint in an open can is fine; anything still wet, plus gasoline, solvents and propane tanks, has to go to a household hazardous waste collection day. Cecil County runs them a few times a year — call 410-996-6275 for the next date.
