We cover the whole city and the sprawl around it — the Main Street and university blocks, the rentals off Elkton Road and South College, the developments along Route 4 and Route 273, the Route 896 corridor south, and out toward Christiana and the Route 7 side. Student move-outs in spring are their own season, and we plan for it.

Disposal in New Castle County
Delaware runs its waste through the Delaware Solid Waste Authority, so a Newark job doesn’t touch the Maryland system at all. Most of what comes off a truck up here goes to Cherry Island Landfill at 1706 East 12th Street in Wilmington, open 7am to 5pm weekdays and 7am to 3pm Saturday.
For jobs south of the canal, the Pine Tree Corner Transfer Station at 276 Pine Tree Road in Townsend is the closer gate — Monday through Saturday, 7am to 5pm. Which one we use depends on where you’re, and both are priced by weight.
Because Maryland county facilities won’t take Delaware-generated waste, a hauler who’s set up only for Cecil County is either turning your job down or eating a long detour. We run both sides of the line and quote Newark on Delaware numbers, not Maryland ones.

Do you handle student move-out cleanouts?
Every spring. Furniture, mattresses, mini-fridges, and whatever got left in the basement of a rental house. If you’re a landlord turning several properties in the same week, tell us up front and we’ll block the days instead of fitting you in one at a time.
Is a Delaware job priced differently than a Maryland one?
Slightly, because the disposal is different — Delaware waste goes to DSWA facilities, not to Cecil County. The rate structure isn’t the same. We quote Newark on Delaware numbers, which is more honest than pretending the state line doesn’t exist.
Can you come out this week?
