We work the Route 282 corridor, the communities down along the Sassafras and Elk Necks, and the farm and woodland properties between them. This is a corner of the county where properties are large, outbuildings are common, and nobody has had a reason to clear anything out in a long time.

Cecil County runs its own disposal system and everything we pull out of a Earleville property stays inside it. The Central Landfill sits at 758 East Old Philadelphia Road in Elkton, open Monday through Saturday, 7:30am to 3:30pm.
Worth knowing, because it catches people out: the county’s two transfer stations — Woodlawn on Waibel Road in Colora and Stemmer’s Run in Earleville — only take bagged household trash and recyclables. Bulky waste, furniture, construction debris and cleanout material all have to go to the Central Landfill in Elkton, no matter which corner of the county it came from. So if you were planning to run a load to whichever one is closest to you, it will get turned away at the gate.
The scale house weighs trucks in and out and charges by the ton. That is the whole reason we ask for photos before quoting: the weight of a load is most of the cost of a load, and guessing at it over the phone helps nobody.
One more thing if you are comparing haulers — Cecil County facilities will not accept waste generated outside the county, and the reverse is true too. A hauler running your Earleville debris out of the county is paying to do it, and that shows up in your price.

It is a fair assumption and unfortunately not the case. Stemmer’s Run only accepts bagged household trash and recyclables, not bulky waste or cleanout material. Everything we load in Earleville still has to go to the Central Landfill in Elkton, so the run is the same as it would be from anywhere else in the county. We would rather tell you that than let you think we are padding the drive.
Can you clear a property that is mostly overgrowth?
Yes — brush, storm debris, fallen limbs, and years of grown-in field edge. We cut and haul. What we do not do is stump grinding or take-downs of standing trees, which needs a tree service and different insurance.
How far ahead do I need to book?
